ALISON KORN

Alison Korn is a reporter with the Ottawa Citizen, the largest metro
daily in Canada's capital. She'll be covering Polar Trek 2001 for the
newspaper, available online at www.ottawacitizen.com. Alison, 30, is aformer Olympic rower and was a member of Canada's women's eights crew,winning a silver medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and a bronze at the2000 Sydney Olympics. She also won back-to-back world championships in thepair in 1997 and 1998. Alison enjoys a variety of sports as well as Scrabble.
